About the Festival

The Grenada Chocolate Fest celebrates the island’s delicious organic and ethically produced cocoa and chocolate. The festival is a perfect experience for all those who have a passion for chocolate.

Learn how Grenada’s chocolate artisans craft their famous ethical “tree to bar” products. Take a journey through the island’s rich history and visit cocoa farms nestled in its lush Caribbean the cocoa or be a cocoa farmer for a day. Jam by the turquoise sea at sunset, and run through a cocoa forest! And when you are ready to relax and unwind, indulge in some authentic chocolate-inspired cuisine and luxuriate in cocoa-infused island life!

Grenada's newest local chocolate makers Tri Island chocolate and steered by their founder, have embarked on a mission to discover the forgotten lands of his ancestors. Once discovered they are rehabilitating them and implementing modern and sustainable cocoa and agricultural practices across the lands. Located in St Andrews, cultivates of cocoa, wild coffee, nutmeg and many more fruits.

Mount Edgecombe Plantation

A hidden gem in the West Indies, nestled above the Caribbean Sea, on the Spice and Cocoa rich island of Grenada in the West Indies, Mount Edgecombe Plantation offers a stunning but serene plantation vacation experience.

With a history going back as least as far as 1763, this totally authentic working plantation was originally growing sugar cane, but later became a spice, cocoa and coffee plantation.

Today, as a small luxury boutique hotel, the traditional accommodation, sleeping up to 16, is surrounded by 28 acres of verdant and colourful flora, with over 40 types of aromatic spices, fruit and vegetables.

With its stunning, sheltered and elevated location on the West Coast of Grenada, this historic plantation estate enjoys cool sea breezes, amazing sunsets, luscious grounds and the panoramic views of the shimmering Caribbean Sea.
